John Martin Magenau Jr. was the president and Chief Executive Officer of this brewery since its inception at Erie Pennsylvania in 1847 until 1978. Jacobs first began acting lessons when she was 8 years old and continued to attend the classes on Saturdays at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. Mt. Jacobs was a student at Lebanon High School from 2000 to 2004. She earned her bachelor's degree at the end of 2004.
